Waste Classification & Management

The issue of waste management has come to the fore in recent years in line with increasing levels of both National and EU legislation. All waste generated on sites requires appropriate consideration and classification stemming from waste management requirements as detailed in Regional Waste Management Plans. The cost of disposal to landfill as increased significantly over time and is continuing to do so. Therefore, minimising any disposal off-site is becoming a far more cost effective approach to landfill disposal.
